JoyNewsRoom has gathered from a Facebook feed on the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s page a presentation of 150 Vehicles. i.e, 100 buses and 50 pickup trucks to a number of Senior High Schools.
The Vice President indicated that the vehicles were provided through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund) as a way of improving the quality of education in Ghana.
In a Facebook Post captured on his page, he stated: “I underscored the importance of an efficient transportation system in the education sector, particularly in light of the Free Senior High School Programme, and pledged government’s commitment to doing even more”
Considering the cruciality of having an effective transportation system in the administration works of any school, this intervention will serve a very good purpose.
