Amidst growing concerns over the economic hardship which induced a crunch cabinet retreat chaired by the President at Peduase on 20th March 2022, the Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta is scheduled to address the nation on 24th March 2022, on decisions taken by the government to assuage the economic challenges.
Several concerns have emerged over the week, brought about by the cedi devaluation, hikes in fuel prices, leading to inflationary effects. Businesses owners and the general public have bemoaned over these shocks.
Following the cabinet retreat which was held on the 20th, the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo has hinted at a press briefing by the Finance Minister on Thursday.
