It will be recalled that revered Preacher and Founder of Fountain Gate Chapel Rev. Eastwood Anaba described Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a man who is patient, prudent and purposeful.
At a 31st December night service in 2018, Rev. Eastwood Anaba could not hold back his administration and praises for the Vice President who was present at the service to climax the year 2018 and usher in 2019.
In what was widely said to be a perfect description of the second gentleman of the land, the respected man of God likened Dr Bawumia to a man in the Bible who was discovered to save Israel and bring respite to the people.
“I was thinking about him and I said how can I describe this man; and one scripture came to mind. 1st Samuel 16:18 came to mind, which reads ‘Behold I have seen the son of (Bawumia), that is astute in playing, and a mighty valiant man, a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person and the Lord (is with) him’.
He added that “When I read this scripture, it is like I have taken a piece of fabric and sown a nice garment and fitted it on our Vice President from the crown of his head to his feet. I said this is the description that aptly describes the man”.
In what was prescribed as a prophesy on the life and future of the Vice President in the ensuing year, Rev. Eastwood said “First of all we have in the Vice President of Ghana a prudent man; no question about that. A patient man. Anybody who can stay in opposition and remain faithful in opposition until he gains position is a patient man. And if u look at the way his training and mere passion for life drives him, you would know he is also a purposeful man”.
As the New Patriotic Party prepares to elect a flagbearer for the 2024 elections, Dr Bawumia is highly tipped to be the man to lead the ruling party into the next electoral battle.
The qualities of patience, prudence and purposeful as touted by the respected preacher about the Vice President are strongly believed to be the grounds for a victory for him.
