Derrick Sarfo Kantanka known by the stage name Amerado has indicated in an interview with Cookie T, an entertainment host on TV3’s New Day, that he has a lot of respect for Ghana’s celebrated rapper, Sarkodie.
In the interview, the rapper was asked to clarify a statement he made some time ago in another interview which sort of had a conversation session about Sarkodie. In his clarification, he explained that he was not happy about the host of that program, because he was only interested in pitching Sarkodie against him. The Rapper said he mostly get show hosts comparing him to Sarkodie, which is not right because Sarkodie has worked so hard to be where he is today.
He stated below:
I don’t like to be pitched against the greatest (Sarkodie) because he has worked on his craft. I love Sarkodie because he is a very good Rapper. He has maintained his relevance over the years with his brand image.
