Former President Mahama has launched a scathing attack on President Akufo-Addo. The NDC flagbearer hopeful begun his campaign this morning in the Central region ahead of the NDC planned presidential primary this year.
Speaking briefly to scores of party supporters at Awutu Senya East, Mr. Mahama said that “The NDC must be proud of what we did in Government for 8 years. The Nana Addo Government has been a failure. When a government is led by a failure the result is hardship”
The attack on the personality of President Akufo-Addo seem to have excited the NDC supporters who gathered to welcome the former president as they were seem cheering Mr. Mahama on.
JoyNewsRoom reporter in the Central region, Kofi Aidoo said the NDC flagbearer hopeful is expected to mount harsh criticisms of the NPP government and its leaders.
The former President will be in the Central region for four days and will campaign in all 23 constituencies.
