Real Tamale United’s ardent supporters have done the unthinkable by seizing the team’s training equipment during one of the team’s training sessions.
On Monday, March 7, 2022, a swarm of enraged fans descended on the club’s training grounds, seizing all of the club’s training equipment in protest of the players’ bad performances.
The coach’s selection for the team’s recent match games, according to fans, is the reason for the team’s bad performance.
The Pride of The North have won just one of their previous six Premier League games, and they are currently 15th in the table with 21 points from 19 games.
They are only one point above the relegation zone.
After nearly a decade in Division One, Real Tamale United just qualified for the Ghana Premier League last season.
Fans of Northern Ghana’s main team live in terror of being relegated if their club continues to play poorly.
