The Savannah regional director of elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ayatolai Seidu Morino has said the region is set for today’s delegates’ conference that will elect new officers.
Ayatolai noted that electoral materials as well as accommodation for all delegates are set for the event which will take place at the MP’s office complex in Damongo.
According to him, 20 qualified aspirants will go through voting process as the only person contesting for the position of the 1st vice chairperson is going unopposed and a total of 173 delegates are expected to take part in the exercise.

Speaking to Asaase News, Morino said that the 173 delegates comprising 119 constituency executives, 17 regional executives, 10 council of elders, 10 patrons, a national member, a founding member, three MPs and 12 TESCON representatives.
