A few days ago, social media was set ablaze as rapper Sarkodie gave his opinion on the controversial e-levy. There have been several reactions from commentators, however, Twene Jonas seems to have gone in hard at the rapper, tagging him as an NPP member who shares no sentiment with the citizens.
In a video seen on Facebook, the garrulous Jonas lambasted the rapper for not addressing the many issues in parliament. Again, he said Sarkodie has indirectly supported the government’s proposal to pass the e-levy.
According to Twene Jonas, Sarkodie declared his support by saying that Ghanaians are complaining because they don’t have money not because they don’t want to pay. Many have also expressed their views saying they do not agree with what Twene Jonas is implying from the message because the meaning does not link to the interpretation.
He then compared Shatta Wale’s opinion to that of Sarkodie, praising him for going straight to the point in taking a position against the e-levy.
