A man has reportedly lost his job as a social media manager with an attractive salary package after he carelessly used the company’s official Twitter account to wade into football-related issues involving Lionel Messi.
The employee reportedly used the Twitter page to retweet a post that aimed a dig at the former Barcelona legend, Lionel Messi.
For failing to blur the lines between his professional and personal duties, he has consequently been axed from his position.
A tweep, @Letter_to_Jack shared the story and revealed that the person is now crying for people to beg the employer.
He wrote; ”You begged for job, Dem give you official social media account to handle with manageable salary, after two weeks you begin dey use am retweet Messi slander.
You con dey cry say make dem help you beg.”
