The National Youth Volunteer Program, which was envisaged to instill a sense of patriotism in the youth, was launched on the 11th of April, 2022, by the Vice President at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi.
On the Official Facebook Page of the Vice President, JoyNewsRoom captured an update report highlighting veep’s message to the youth, who are the target group for the initiative.
He emphasized the importance of the program, serving as the avenue to build the youth into responsible nationalists who will be well placed to meaningfully impact the nation.
Among other areas where the program will be focusing to achieve maximum benefit, are the agricultural, education, health, infrastructure and afforestation sectors.
