How to Use a NordVPN Coupon Code at Checkout
The entire procedure can be completed within 2 minutes.
- Go to the NordVPN website and browse the available plans.
- Select the plan you want (2-year plans carry the biggest discounts).
- At checkout, look for the “Got a coupon?” section just below your order total.
- Type or paste your code into the field and click “Apply.” The discount should reflect immediately.
- Complete your payment using a credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay.
If the discount is already applied to the price before you apply a code, it means a sitewide deal is already active. In this situation, you can try applying a manual code like CNEWSOFF to see if it adds further savings. NordVPN only allows one code per purchase, so go with the one that gives you the best price.
Special Discounts: Students, Military, and Referrals

Why NordVPN Is Worth the Price Even Without a Coupon
NordVPN is the most audited VPN on the market today. Its no-logs policy has been audited by third parties six times, which is more than most competitors. Here is a quick rundown of what makes the service unique:
- AES-256 encryption (or ChaCha20, depending on protocol), the same grade used by financial institutions.
- NordLynx protocol, built on WireGuard, delivers fast speeds without dropping encryption standards.
- Threat Protection Pro (on Plus plans and above) blocks malware, ads, and trackers before they even load.
- Meshnet, which creates a private encrypted tunnel between your own devices, useful for remote file access.
- Dark Web Monitor alerts you if your credentials appear in a known data breach.
- Up to 10 devices simultaneously on all plans.
- Servers in 149 countries, with thousands of individual servers across that network.
Mistakes People Make When Hunting for NordVPN Deals
This section deals with common pitfalls that you can easily become ensnared in.
Using expired codes from random coupon aggregator sites. Many codes on sites are expired for months. Always check that the code works at checkout before assuming you have a deal.
Buying through the App Store or Google Play. Coupon codes cannot be used for purchases made through the iOS or Android app stores. The store platforms take a percentage and NordVPN cannot honor discount codes there. Instead, purchase directly from nordvpn.com and then use the app.
Stacking codes. NordVPN restricts one coupon per order. There is no way to circumvent this. Just pick the best code and go with it.
Waiting for a bigger deal. Black Friday does bring larger discounts (sometimes touching 80% off), but locking in a 75% deal now and using the 30-day money-back guarantee costs you nothing if a better sale launches within that window. You can refund and re-subscribe.NordVPN limits one coupon per transaction. You can’t get around this. Just select the best code and that’s it.
Assuming renewal pricing matches the signup price. NordVPN doesn’t provide discount codes for renewals Only. To renew your subscription at a discounted rate after your plan has expired, you will need to obtain a new coupon code.
What to Do If Your NordVPN Coupon Code Is Not Working
Before you get in touch with support, try checking these things first:
- Make sure the code has not expired. Codes tied to seasonal campaigns (Back to School, Black Friday) have hard end dates.
- Check for typos. Copy the code and paste it in your code editor.
- Confirm you are not already logged into an account with an active subscription, since codes only apply to new purchases or resubscriptions.
- Make sure you are not trying to apply a code on the mobile app checkout screen. Code entry only works on nordvpn.com.
If none of that works, contact NordVPN’s chat support live. Occasionally they can manually apply the discount, or say when a code has expired.
Is the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee Actually Real?
Yes. NordVPN complies with refund requests received within 30 days of purchase, with no questions asked. You do pay upfront but the process for getting a refund is handled through live chat and typically takes 5 to 10 business days to process back to your original method of payment. This is what makes it a truly risk-free method of testing out the service, particularly if you’re uncertain about whether the speeds are going to be suitable for your use case.
FAQs
What is the best NordVPN deal right now? 75% off 2 years of Plus or Complete plan is the best offer available as of September 2026. Enter the code coupon code CNEWSOFF at the checkout to get an additional discount.
